I took a chance on this knock-off bracket since the Garmin OEM replacement part was so expensive. There are two important functions for this bracket plus cosmetic finish:
1. Smooth-secure pivot on ball joint - I rate this 9 out of 10; This is probably the most important function and it performs very well.
2. Secure attachment of clip into slots of GPS device - I rate this 6 out of 10 - It doesn't clip as snappy as the original but it gets the job done.
3. Cosmetic finish - I rate this 4 out of 10 - The surface finish is more crude than the original, but who cares. The bracket isn't even visible when the GPS is installed in front of it.
Overall, it's four stars out of five. Don't be worried about this. It will get the job done and you'll save money from the greedy spare parts department at Garmin.

This replacement bracket is identical to the original equipment that I lost. it works perfectly and I had no problem retro-fitting it to the original Garmin GPS.

When I broke my original cradle for my GPS, I found that the only way I could use the GPS was to hold it. I could not put it on the dashboard because it moved around and it had to be up and face the windshield to pick up the satellite. I was so happy to find this on Amazon and for such a good price. It fits the GPS perfectly, just like the original and I am very pleased with it. Thanks again Amazon! I can find anything I need here and for a good price too.

I purchased this mount not as a replacement but as a second unit to mount to my Nuvi 200 in my Jeep. It works nice. Seems to be of the same quality as the original. I'd purchase another one if needed.

This is an exact match to the cradle that came with my GPS. I bought the extra cradle because I have vent holders in each of my cars so all I have to do now is move the GPS.
